Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup—National Championship Series (NCS)

The Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup—National Championship Series (NCS) competition is an open competition that draws teams that participate at the highest levels of competition in US Youth Soccer, Region I, and EPYSA .

Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup is an open competition that is focused on high-level teams that wish to play in a competition that offers a statewide championship where the winners advance to regional and national play.

Charlotte Moran inducted to US Youth Soccer Region I Hall of Fame

On Saturday, October 18th, US Youth Soccer Region I held its annual fall meeting in Burlington, Vermont. The inaugural class of the Region I Hall of fame was announced with former Eastern Pennsylvania Executive Director, Charlotte Moran being posthumously honored. Charlotte was cited for her tireless work, spanning over 30 years in youth soccer. Since 1979, Charlotte had served youth soccer at every level, from club to league, from state association to national office. <read more>

EPYSA ELEVATES MICHAEL BARR TO DIRECTOR OF COACHING

HORSHAM, PA (September 1, 2009) — The Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) announces the elevation of Michael Barr to the full-time position of Director of Coaching. Barr, who previously held the position on a part-time basis, directs the EPYSA's Coaching Education and Licensing programs. He is also charged with developing and training the region's technical and instructional coaching staff, as well as oversight of the Olympic Development Program. <read more>

EPYSA NAMES BRANSCOME CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

HORSHAM, PA (August 25, 2009) — The Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) announces the appointment of Chris Branscome as Chief Executive Officer. He boasts nearly two decades of experience working across the youth, college and professional levels of soccer in the United States and has strong ties to Eastern Pennsylvania as a player, coach, and executive. Branscome joins EPYSA after spending the past seven years as the Director of Marketing for US Youth Soccer, which oversees 55 state associations in the U.S., including the EPYSA. <read more>

EPYSA Becomes Second State Association to Recognize NSCAA Online Diploma

The Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) have announced an agreement that will provide a tool to improve coaching at EPYSA’s grassroots level through the NSCAA Online Academy, a basic coaching education program offered via the Internet.
