The Development Grants Program was established in 2013 to maintain and improve the infrastructure of soccer in Eastern Pennsylvania. The funding is intended to go primarily, but not limited to, fields and facility improvements.

Applicants must demonstrate their own financial and human resources commitment to the project as well as the ability to increase the number of youth players and quality of play by improving existing or creating new facilities.

In addition, they must outline how the project will positively impact their soccer organization as well as the growth of the sport within their respective communities.  Grants are awarded after a review process conducted by the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Grant Committee.

“Our goal with these grants is to continue to support the infrastructure of our clubs,” says Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer CEO Chris Branscome. “With better, safer fields and facilities, we can bring quality soccer to more kids.”

The grant cycle for 2018 will open January 1, with applications being accepted until March 31.  Applications for 2018 will be available in November 2017.  For more information on the Development Grants or other programs please visit http://www.epysa.org/.
