2021 18U-19/20U NCS State Cup Finals Preview
Ukrainian American Sports Center | North Wales, PA
On Sunday, June 6th at the Ukrainian American Sports Center in North Wales, PA, four 18U-19/20U NCS State Cup Champions will be crowned. The winners of these Cup Finals games will move on to the 2021 US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Championships at Tuckahoe Turf Farms in Hammonton, NJ. All Regional winners will then move on to play against the best of the best for the National Championships in Bradenton-Sarasota, FL at the 2021 US Youth Soccer National Championships!
Below are previews of the semi-finals games that will take place today and tomorrow. Winners will advance to the Cup Finals on Sunday, June 6th.
18U Boys:
The first semi-final matchup today will be between West-Mont United SA Premier Blue and Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 03 Black. The game kicks off at 7:00PM at the Far Post. The 2018 NCS State Cup Champions, Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals Black, are looking to regain their title and punch their ticket to Regionals. West-Mont United SA Premier Blue are coming off back-to-back 2-1 victories and taking all their momentum into this exciting semi-final matchup.
The second semi-final matchup will be tomorrow at Lower Dauphin Middle School between Capital Area SA United and Radnor SC 2003 Premier. The reigning 2019 Champions, CASA United, have been scoring at will with nine goals in two matches. Radnor SC has also been putting on a scoring clinic by winning 5-1 in their quarterfinal matchup. Do not blink during this semi-final matchup because you may miss a goal!
18U Girls:
To kick off Cup Finals Sunday, we will crown the 18U Girls NCS State Cup Champions! Game time is slated for 10:30AM. The former champions and 2019 NCS State Cup Finalists, Keystone FC Premier 03, have not forgotten about their heartbreaking 4-3 loss in the 2019 finals. This year they are striving to regain their title that they previously had 2018. They’ll be facing off against either Warrington SC 2003 Fusion or FC Providence Lightning. Both teams had convincing victories in the quarterfinals and will be in a fierce battle to secure a spot in the Cup Finals on Sunday.
19/20U Boys:
Tonight at 8:30PM at Ukrainian American Sports Center, the reigning 2019 NCS State Cup Champions, Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 02 Black will take on Lower Merion SC Fever for a spot in the finals on Sunday. The Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals have been in this position before and knows what it takes to get to the finals. Lower Merion SC Fever is coming into this matchup ready to leave it all on the field and get to their first NCS State Cup Finals game.
The second semi-final matchup of the weekend is between the 2019 NCS State Cup Finalists, Penn Fusion SA Elite 2001 and Lehigh Valley United 2001. Both teams are coming off exhilarating quarterfinal games that were decided by one goal each. United Sports Training Center will be the host of this semi-final matchup. Who will punch their ticket to the Cup Finals on Sunday?
19/20U Girls:
For the final girls NCS State Cup Final game, it’s a matchup between two powerhouses that are eager to get to Regionals in New Jersey. FC Ballyhoo 02 Black will be making their first appearance in the Cup Finals, while 1776 United FC Xtreme 01 could be making history by winning their fifth straight NCS State Cup Final! We are in for a thrilling match that you will not want to miss!
