The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Black History Month Spotlight

In honor of Black History Month, we wanted to highlight some local black coaches in our area who are inspiring change!

First up is Asia Bullock, who is a coach for the JT Dorsey Foundation. Asia has played soccer for 12 years and still plays today in a women's league. She's currently obtaining her degree in surgical technology and is a BIG Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan!

Next spotlight is Glodi Konga, who is the head coach of Eastern University's Men's Soccer team. He holds a UEFA B license and played collegiately, first at Cloud County CC, where he won the NJCAA National Championship, then at Cairn before completing his final two years at Liberty University. He holds a BS in Exercise Science and an MS in Sports Management from Liberty. He is in a Ph.D. He played after college in the ASL with the Philadelphia Fury and served as the Head Coach at the University of Valley Forge and as an assistant coach at Haverford College. He was the Head of Coaching at United Philly Soccer Club and has taken several teams on international tours with Athletes in Action and Ambassadors Football.

Our third spotlight is Andrea Taylor. Andrea is the coach for the JT Dorsey Foundation. She started off being coached by JT and decided to come back to be a part of his program and mentor kids from her community. "It has been such a rewarding and eye-opening experience," Andrea said.

Our fourth and final spotlight is Ryan Griffith! Ryan is the coach for R⚽️Я Soccer Academy and has a big passion for soccer. His purpose is to make soccer accessible and affordable for youth in the region. Ryan and the Academy aim to assist each player in maximizing his/her potential and develop a social structure to inspire them to do the same for others in the soccer community.
