The Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup (NCS) Championships kicked off Saturday with four championship matches played at United Sports in Downingtown and commencing Sunday afternoon, crowning the final eight Champions. Under-18 and Under-19 Champions will be crowned in June,
More than 300 teams competed since March to make it to the weekend’s finals. The next stop for the teams is the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships in Kingston, Rhode Island beginning on Thursday, June 27. A victory there sends them to Overland Park, Kansas for a shot at the national championship beginning Monday, July 22.
The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series provides approximately 185,000 players on 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer's 55 State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation, while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play. The US Youth Soccer National Championships serves as the crown jewel of competitive youth soccer as the nation's top 88 youth soccer teams, in the Under-13 through Under-19 Boys and Girls brackets, compete for the US Youth Soccer National Championship title.
