Josh Encarnacion, pictured here with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer President Jim Kuntz, has been drawing accolades for his officiating.
Refereeing is becoming a tougher and tougher job. Few are better at it, at his or any age, than Josh Encarnacion. Matt De George of the Delaware County Daily Times wrote an excellent feature on Josh, who just finished officiating the US Youth Soccer National Championships in Frisco, Texas.
In his young career, Josh, a West Chester University student, has refereed State Cup Finals, national championships and even served as an AR in a USL game. He was named the 2015 Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Young Male Referee of the Year.
