2022 East Region South Event Recap
Players across Eastern Pennsylvania proudly represented our Olympic Development Program at the East Region South Event on June 10th, 11th, and 12th in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Players featured special metallic gold keystones on their uniforms as tribute to Eastern Pennsylvania's 50th anniversary, and their play matched the sparkle of their uniforms. For our under twelve through fourteen teams, players competed in the spirit of development. The emphasis being on growing as a player, competing amongst talented players, and showcasing their abilities to the regional scouts for an opportunity to be invited to the East Region Camp held in Delaware this summer. Beginning with games on Friday the under fifteen through seventeen players battled through one game a day aiming to finish in the top four of their age group to advance to Championship weekend being held at The Chase Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Delaware.
"I thoroughly enjoyed watching our Eastern Pennsylvania teams compete over the weekend at the East Region South Event. Our coaches provided impactful directions and teams improved from their first games of the weekend to their last. As our Technical Director, I was impressed with the technical and tactical ability of our players and am excited to see many of them move forward to the Regional Pool starting with camp this summer." -Mike Barr

We will be sending the following teams to the championship weekend: U15 Boys EPA1, U16 Boys EPA1 and EPA2 (both advanced), and U16/17 Girls
"Out of all our advancing groups, I was able to watch the U16 Boys play a couple of times this weekend. I was impressed with their combination play, speed of play, passion to play with each other, and respect for their coaches. It is no shock both teams advanced through their groups. Well done boys! And congrats to all our teams advancing to the semi-finals with games starting Saturday, June 25th." -Gary Stephenson
