On Wednesday, Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Technical Director Mike Barr ran a clinic for Garnet Valley High School students who have volunteered as buddies with FC Brandywine TOPSoccer.

Coach Barr gave the students some tips and drills to help them run rewarding, positive and quality sessions for their TOPSoccer players. TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer), which works with players with special needs, relies on the work of volunteers, many of whom are high school students.

Without them, our special needs children wouldn't have the opportunity to play soccer. We thank FC Brandywine for its initiative and the Garnet Valley students for their commitment to giving back to their community.
