Four Eastern Pennsylvania Teams To Compete In National Presidents Cup

The 2017 US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup starts this Thursday, July 13 in Auburndale, Florida and runs to July 16. Four Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer teams will compete in the national Presidents Cup. Team information is below. The full schedule for the championship is here. Congratulations and best of luck in Florida!
U14 Boys: HMMS Ajax
U14 Boys - HMMS Ajax HMMS Ajax earned their place at nationals after some drama with a familiar opponent. In the Eastern Pennsylvania Presidents Cup Final, HMMS defeated Lighthouse Rangers, 2-1. The two teams met again in the regional semifinals. Ajax advanced on penalties. HMMS followed up that performance with a 2-1 win over Century V Red (PA-W) in the Region I final.
U14 Girls: Harleysville FC Ready
Harleysville FC U14g irls champisoans dapen asdm Although the Ready finished second in the state final--losing to Montgomery United Fury--they rebounded to go undefeated in regionals. Harleysville won their group and beat Charleston Clash (WV) in penalties to claim the championship. The Ready converted four kicks to the Clash's two after a 3-3 tie in regulation.
U15 Boys: VE Green Gunners
VE Gunners Region I Presidents Cup Champions The Green Gunners dropped a heart-breaker in penalties in the Eastern Pennsylvania Presidents Cup Final to North Union United Cannons. Perhaps that defeat inspired VE to new heights. The Green Gunners rolled through regionals, outscoring opponents 29-2. That run was capped by a 3-0 victory over Monroe FC (NJ) in the final.
U17/18 Girls: Ukrainian Nationals Vorskla Black
Ukrainian Nationals Presidents Cup Champions 2017 You can't play better defense than what the Ukrainian Nationals Vorskla Black displayed in West Virginia at the regional championships. Vorskla Black held a clean sheet throughout their five games, with a 1-0 win in the finals against FC Copa Academy Red (NJ) the ticket to Florida. This run came after a 2-1 victory over Harleysville in the Eastern Pennsylvania Presidents Cup Final.
