Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer's Grow the Game Fund is designed to support projects at the local level with a primary focus on fostering the long-term growth of soccer in the region.

Objectives

The Grow the Game Fund seeks to achieve the following key objectives:

  • Inclusivity: Encourage initiatives that embrace diversity, ensuring that soccer is accessible and welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and ages.
     
  • Belonging: Foster a sense of belonging within the soccer community, creating an environment where every participant feels valued, respected, and an integral part of the sport.
     
  • Participation: Increase overall participation by supporting projects that attract and retain players, coaches, referees, and administrators, particularly focusing on those who may face barriers to entry.

This initiative is made possible through collaboration with our esteemed partners, who share our commitment to the growth and inclusivity of soccer in Eastern Pennsylvania. Their support exemplifies a shared vision for a soccer community that reflects the diversity and richness of the region.

  • Accessibility: Programs that break down barriers to entry, making soccer accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those in underserved communities.
     
  • Education and Training: Projects that provide educational opportunities and training for coaches, referees, and administrators, enhancing the overall quality of soccer programs.
     
  • Innovative Programming: Creative and innovative programming that sparks interest and sustains long-term engagement in soccer. 

Total Funding

The total amount available for awards in 2024 is approximately $50,000. This funding represents a collective effort with our partners, Nike, Kwikgoal and Soccer Post. The total funding available for the Grow the Game Fund 2024 is a testament to our commitment to support impactful projects in the Eastern Pennsylvania soccer community.
