Brent Jacquette joins Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer as Director of Soccer Operations

Brent Jacquette joins Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer as Director of Soccer operations. Jacquette has twenty years of professional experience. He’s been engaged in all levels of soccer, youth to professional. Brent’s role will be to oversee the state cup tournaments, tournament sanctioning, regional and national competitions and provide general support on the game to the membership.

Most recently, Jacquette served as a Senior Account Consultant with Athlete College Advisors. In this role he worked with clubs, high schools, state associations and individuals to provide guidance throughout the college search process.

Jacquette has been active in the grassroots soccer community as the Co-Founder of Chester Upland Youth Soccer. He served as Executive Director and a board member since 2008. He’s coached at multiple clubs in the Philadelphia area and took his Lower Merion U19 team to the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Championship and the semi-finals of the McGuire Cup.

Jacquette spent ten seasons as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Widener University where he helped make program history. Brent enjoyed a successful collegiate playing career, having been named an All-American as well as a two-time All-Big Ten Conference player at Penn State University. The four-year starter and team captain was selected to participate in the Major League Soccer combine in 2003. Brent also competed in the United Soccer Leagues with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and the Minnesota Thunder. 

A native of Wallingford, Jacquette graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and earned a master’s degree in public administration from Widener University. He currently holds a USSF “A” License as well the United Soccer Coaches (NSCAA) Premier Diploma.
