The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

As the Communications Manager, Joe is responsible for the Association’s internal and external communications. These duties include developing high quality content and messaging and creating and sourcing content, articles press releases and media opportunities to share our Association’s vision and mission.

Before he joined the State Association, Joe was a Media Relations Intern at Villanova University where he provided coverage for softball, women’s water polo and men’s and women’s swimming. He also assisted with field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, football and men’s and women’s basketball. Joe also served as the Sports Information Assistant at Germantown Academy where he handled all media and social media, covered all varsity sports and helped design and launch InterAcAthletics.com. He also served as the Digital Content Intern for Philadelphia Union in 2017, the same year the team won MLS Digital Team of the Year.

Joe earned his Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and also holds an Associate’s degree in journalism from Rowan College at Burlington County. While in Glassboro, Joe covered the men’s and women’s soccer teams while also serving as Sports Editor of the campus newspaper.

Born and raised in South Jersey, Joe played goalkeeper for Immaculata University during his freshman year prior to attending Rowan College at Burlington County and getting into writing about the game.
