Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer proudly celebrates Grassroots Soccer Manager, JT Dorsey, who officially received the United Soccer Coaches’ prestigious 2024 Black Soccer Coaches Communities Award of Excellence this past weekend at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Chicago.
Dorsey was honored during the Advocacy Hour Reception, where his remarkable contributions to fostering inclusion, diversity, and community in soccer were celebrated among peers, leaders, and advocates of the game. The award recognizes not only his achievements but also his passion for using soccer as a vehicle for positive change.
The evening was a testament to Dorsey’s impact both on and off the field, from his work as the founder of the JT Dorsey Foundation to his ongoing efforts with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. His dedication continues to break barriers and inspire the next generation of players and leaders.
As the founder of the JT Dorsey Foundation, Dorsey has made it his mission to serve underserved youth through the beautiful game. The Foundation focuses on providing opportunities, resources, and mentorship to children who might not otherwise have access to the sport, fostering their growth both on and off the field. Serving youth aged 5 to 19 across various Pennsylvania communities, the JT Dorsey Foundation uses soccer as a transformative tool to foster athletic skills, strong moral character, academic excellence, and community involvement.
Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer congratulates JT Dorsey once again on this well-deserved recognition. We are grateful for his commitment to inclusion, youth development, and the betterment of our soccer community.
