The Union Playoff Opener is Set for Thursday, October 20, 2022

The Philadelphia Union will play their Eastern Conference semifinal playoff game this Thursday, October 20th, at Subaru Park against FC Cincinnati. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET, with the match broadcasted nationally on FS1 and Fox Deportes as part of a doubleheader that night.

The Union is the number one seed after an incredible 2022 season that saw them finish 19-5-10 in the regular season to claim home-field advantage in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. FC Cincinnati finished their regular season 12-9-13 to nab the number five seed in the east. They met with the Union twice in the regular season, with the first game seeing a 1-1 result at Subaru Park and their second meeting resulting in a 3-1 win for Cincinnati.
