ODP player Maya Raghunandanan makes Jamaica U-20 team for Concacaf qualifiers

Maya Raghunandanan photoAn Olympic Development Player from Eastern Pennsylvania will get a chance to represent Jamaica at the upcoming Concacaf Women's U-20 qualifiers in Nicaragua.

Maya Raghunandanan shared the news of her Reggae Girlz call-up on social media on Monday.

The 2007-born midfielder plays club soccer for Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals and is a member of the Eastern PA ODP 2007 team. 

The Concacaf qualifiers will be played April 14-23 across four venues in the Caribbean and Central America. 

Jamaica's Under-20 team has been drawn in with Honduras, Bermuda, Anguilla and French Guiana in Group E. The group winner will advance to the Concacaf U-20 Championship in the Dominican Republic May 24-June 3.

Jamaica opens round robin play against French Guiana on Friday at 9 p.m. They play Anguilla on Sunday, Bermuda on April 20 and Honduras on April 22.
