Maya Raghunandanan and the Jamaica U-20s qualifying for Concacaf Championship with 2-0 win over Honduras

Maya Raghunandana - Photo courtesy of Concacaf.comMaya Raghunandanan and the Jamaica U-20 team booked a spot in the Concacaf Women's U-20 Championship with a 2-0 win over Honduras on Tuesday.

Raghunandanan, an Eastern PA Olympic Development player who plays club for the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals, started for the Reggae Girlz in the decisive finale of qualifying in Nicaragua.

Natoya Atkinson scored a goal in each half to lead Jamaica to the 2-0 win.

The Reggae Girlz finished qualifying with three wins out of three and didn't concede a goal in the three games. Jamaica beat Anguilla 6-0 and Bermuda 2-0. Raghunandanan started in the first and third matches for Jamaica. 

The Concacaf Women's U-20 Championship will be played May 24-June 3 in the Dominican Republic.
