United States Under-20 men and women both have big games Sunday

_i2_8642Hardware for the women and a trip to the semifinals are on the line for the United States men's and women's Under-20 teams today.

The United States U-20 women's team plays Mexico at 3 p.m. in the Dominican Republic for the Concacaf U-20 Women's Championship.

The U.S. has already wrapped up qualification for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup with a 2-1 win over Costa Rica on Friday but a trophy and continental bragging rights will still be on the line.

The match will be broadcast live on FOX Soccer Plus.

The United States U-20 men's team - featuring Philadelphia natives Brandan Craig and Quinn Sullivan - will be taking on Uruguay in the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 Men's World Cup at 5 p.m. eastern on Sunday. The match will be played in Santiago Del Estero, Argentina and be broadcast live on FS2 and Telemundo. 

The U-20 men have outscored opponents 10-0 through three group stage matches and a 4-0 knockout win over New Zealand. The winner of the match will face Israel in the semifinals. Israel knocked out Brazil on Saturday with a 3-2 win thanks to an extra time goal from Dor David Turgeman.
