Seven teams from Eastern Pennsylvania are going to Kansas this week in search of a national championship at the National President Cup finals at Stryker Sports Complex from July 7-11.

The schedule for the competition has been posted (see schedule of Eastern PA teams below, subject to change). 

Two of the Eastern PA teams - PA Classics Elite Blue 06 Girls and Steel United PA 09 Girls - won the Eastern Presidents Cup championship held in Valley Forge last month while the five other teams qualified as finalists in the regional competition. Lancaster Elite Sprinters won the regional title but opted not to attend the national event in Wichita.

FC Ballyhoo 07 Boys Black, Keystone Athletic 2007 Girls Blue, Southern Chester County Dragons Boys 2008, Central Susquehanna SC Phoenix 2010 Girls and Hulmeville SC Dortmund 2005 Boys were regional finalists. 

The seven Eastern PA teams will play against teams from Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Washington over the first three days of group play.  

Five teams from Eastern PA competed in the National Presidents Cup finals held in Greensboro, North Carolina last summer. Iron Valley United Thorns 04 Girls and North Union United Wave 06 Girls each won titles in their age division.
