fsuhalloffameLocal soccer star and current Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer official Kelly (Rowland) Connor will be inducted into the Florida State University Athletics Hall of Fame in September.

Connor, a Wallingford, Pa. native, captained the Seminoles in her junior and senior seasons and was a First-Team All-American in 2006.

"Rowland's dominance on the field was a big factor in FSU's growth into a national powerhouse with the first three College Cup appearances in school history coming during her career," the news release on her Hall of Fame selection stated.

Connor, who is the Chief Operating Office of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, is still the most prolific scoring defender in FSU history with double-digit points in each of her four seasons. The two-time All-ACC and three-time All-ACC Tournament team selection started each of the 96 games she played in as a Seminole and ranks in the top-25 for career goals, assists and points while totaling eight game-winning goals.

She is one of nine members of a 2023 class that includes current Chicago White Sox manager Pedro Grifol, former NFL Pro Bowler Rodney Hudson, legendary women's basketball coach Sue Semrau and ESPN baseball announcer Eduardo Perez.

Connor was previously inducted into the FC Delco Hall of Fame and Delaware County Athletes Hall of Fame.
