Five-time state cup winner and national champion Murphy Agnew will be wearing the famed Celtic FC badge this season in Scotland.

The 24-year-old former Eastern PA ODP who won a USYS National Championship with Yardley Makefield Soccer signed a two-year deal with the Glasgow club. 

The New Hope, Pa. native joins Celtic FC from Newcastle Jets in Australia. Agnew went abroad in 2022 after finishing her college career at Harvard University, joining Thróttur Reykjavík in Iceland.

Agnew led a YMS Xplosion team that won the USYS National Championship in 2016 and was runner up 2013-15. She was the Golden Ball winner three times at the national championships in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
