The U.S. Women's National Team takes to the field for the first time since their disappointing early exit at the FIFA Women's World Cup on a night Julie Ertz will play her final game.
Ertz will cap a decade of playing for the U.S. with her 123rd and final match in the first of two friendlies against South Africa that will double as send-offs to team legends. Megan Rapinoe will play her final USWNT match on Sunday in Chicago.
Ertz, who was a member of the successful Philadelphia bid committee for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, will be honored before and after the match, which will be the first with interim head coach Twila Kilgore.
The game is slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast live on TNT, Universo and Peacock.
