PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. — Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer has announced a multi-year partnership with Soccer Parenting Association aimed at improving sideline behavior and providing valuable resources and education to youth soccer clubs, parents and coaches.
Through the partnership, clubs, coaches and parents will receive discounted access to SoccerParentResourceCenter.com, a youth soccer parent and coach education platform.
“Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer cares about the future growth of soccer across our state,” said Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer CEO Chris Branscome. “A large part of our job is to assist in creating safe soccer environments that allow players to develop and foster a love for the game. To that end, we know that part of that environment includes giving parents engagement tools that can help to make their experience with their child the best that it can be.”
The Soccer Parenting Association’s mission is to make youth soccer better. With emphasis on community, curriculum, and collaboration with partners like Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, the Soccer Parenting Association carries out that mission by addressing sideline behavior and engaging, supporting and educating youth soccer parents and coaches.
Through this new partnership, Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer member clubs will get a discount off an annual membership to Soccer Parenting Association’s club platform, which provides resources and assets for clubs to engage and inform parents. Clubs also get access to a club operations manager, quarterly webinars and more. More information about club memberships is available at soccerparenting.com/easternpa.
“The investment Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer is making towards positively affecting the lives of soccer players, families and dedicated coaches in Eastern Pennsylvania is commendable,” said Skye Eddy, Founder of the Soccer Parenting Association. “We are proud to work with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer and are encouraged by their commitment to improving the youth soccer landscape in the state.”
All parents and coaches in Eastern Pennsylvania will get free access to the Soccer Parent Resource Center platform, which includes information and resources covering everything from injury prevention and nutrition to college recruitment, laws of the game and sideline behavior. Information about accessing this free parent account is available at soccerparentresourcecenter.com/register/easternpa.
Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer has also joined the Soccer Parenting Association as a Sideline Project Partner and is encouraging parents, coaches, referees, spectators and caregivers to take The Sideline Project Pledge (epysa.org/sideline-project).
