Two teams won their bracket and a dozen other teams from Eastern Pennsylvania also advanced to National League P.R.O. during the Boys US Youth Soccer National League Conference Playoffs at ESPN Wide World of Sports this past weekend.
Hex FC Bucks Dominion 2005 and Keystone FC Premier 2010 both won their brackets and booked a spot in the Champions Pool in National League P.R.O. Both teams won all three of their matches in Orlando.
Four teams - Keystone FC Premier 2007, Keystone FC Premier 2008, Sporting PA 2008 and Sporting PA 2009 - finished second in their bracket to advance to the Silver Pool of National League P.R.O.
Eight teams - Sporting PA FCE 2006, FC Revolution Knights 2006, Hex FC Dominion 2007, YMS Premier Blackout 2007, PA Rush 2007, YMS Premier Celtic 2008, Sporting PA 2010 and YMS Premier United - finished third. Third place teams advance to the National League P.R.O. Wildcard Pool.
Two teams - Quaker Elite Magicians and YMS Premier Warriors - were eliminated from National League with fourth place finishes in their brackets.
National League P.R.O. events will be held in Tampa in February and in California in May. Qualified teams choose one of the events to attend.
Of the 14 Eastern PA teams that advanced, all but four teams (Hex FC 2005, Hex FC 2007, YMS Premier Celtic and Sporting PA 2010) are attending the event in Tampa in February.
Four teams will advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships in the Champions Pool at each National League P.R.O. event while just one team will advance from the Silver and one team from the Wildcard Pool at each event.
A total of 24 teams - 12 boys and 12 girls teams - will advance to the national championships via National League P.R.O.
Eleven girls teams from Eastern PA will be playing in the National League Conference Playoffs kicking off on Friday at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
