9 Eastern PA girls teams advance to National League P.R.O.

DSC01611Three teams won their bracket and six others advanced to National League P.R.O. at the US Youth Soccer Girls National League Conference Playoffs that wrapped up today at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Hex FC Dominion 2009, Penn Alliance Select 2009 and Penn FC Youth Black 2008 each finished first place in their four-team bracket and booked a spot in the Champions Pool in National League P.R.O. 

Two teams - YMS Premier Force 2010 and Sporting PA FCE Elite 2008 - finished second in their bracket to advance to the Silver Pool of National League P.R.O. 

Four teams - Sporting PA 2005, Penn FC Youth Black 2007, YMS Premier Celtic 2009 and YMS Premier Spirit 2008  - finished third. Third place teams advance to the National League P.R.O. Wildcard Pool. 

Two teams were eliminated from National League competition with a fourth-place finish: Lancaster Elite Fury 2007 and Penn FC Youth Black 2009. 

National League P.R.O. events will be held in Tampa in February and in California in May. Qualified teams choose one of the events to attend.

All but three teams - Penn Alliance Select Elite 2009, Penn FC Youth Black 2007 and YMS Premier Celtic 2009 - will be participating in the National League P.R.O. event in Tampa in February.

Four teams will advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships in the Champions Pool at each National League P.R.O. event while just one team will advance from the Silver and one team from the Wildcard Pool at each event.

A total of 24 teams - 12 boys and 12 girls teams - will advance to the national championships via National League P.R.O.

Fourteen boys teams from Eastern PA advanced to National League P.R.O. at the boys conference playoffs last weekend in Orlando. Out of 27 teams from Eastern PA that qualified for National League, 23 are moving to the next stage.
