Eastern Pennsylvania teams dominated the action at the 2024 USYS East Presidents Cup. Nearly every team, boys and girls, won their round robin bracket. Those teams, plus the others who finished as the wild card reached the semi-finals. The boys went six for six reaching the semis and the girls were seven out of eight.
Three boy’s teams and four girl’s teams represented Eastern PA in today’s finals. Below are the winners:
- The U18 girls from 1776 won their championship match yesterday beating Allegheny Force FC from PA-West
- The U14 Central Susquehanna girls became back-to-back champions after beating Century United from PA-West team 1-0.
- Warrington SC brought clenched the win for the U16 girls against BVBIA of West Virginia.
- The U13 boys from Hulmeville SC are heading to Kansas after an early morning 2-0 victory against New Jersey’s Parsippany SC.
- Southern Chester County Dragons head to Nationals after defeating Takoma Park from Maryland 3-1.
USYS sends the finalists and winner from each age group to Presidents Cup nationals. Eastern Pennsylvania is fortunate enough to be sending 8 teams to Kansas in July!
