Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer and the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association (PSCA) have entered into a strategic partnership to further the game of soccer in the Keystone State.
Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer recognizes the value of high school soccer and the hard work and dedication of Pennsylvania high school coaches.
Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer will now offer coaching resources to the more than 650 members of PSCA. These resources include: quarterly copies of Pennsylvania’s leading youth soccer publication Touchline; monthly copies of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s electronic coaching magazine The Evolving Game, now being viewed in 17 different countries; opportunities for an Olympic Development Program coach or educational coach/instructor to provide camps and clinics for individual high school teams at a nominal cost; access to all of the video lectures and field sessions on the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer website; and an opportunity for coaching education courses for local high school teams and youth clubs in their area.
"Partnering with a talented group of coaches who are often overlooked is a great opportunity for Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer to help grow our coaching education programs," said Chris Branscome, chief executive officer of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. "We believe this partnership will enhance the quality of play in the high schools and provide coaches with needed support throughout the year."
