Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s ODP teams had a very successful weekend at the Region One ODP Tournament in Mercer County, New Jersey. The overall record for all 19 teams was a remarkable 40 wins, 8 ties and 8 losses. Eleven teams were undefeated! These scores are even more surprising, because we send 8 teams at U13, 4 teams at U14 and three teams at U15. Most states send just 2 teams (Boys and Girls) in each age group.
In the older divisions (U15, U16 and U17) we will be sending five teams to the Regional Semi-finals and Finals at Kirkwood on June 21st and 22nd. They include:
Boys U16
Boys U17
Girls U15 both Team A and B
Girls U17

The demeanor from coaches, players and parents on the sidelines was positive and upbeat. The play on the field was skillful, physical and very competitive. This type of adept play and respect to the game itself really bodes well to the clubs, coaches and parents within Eastern Pennsylvania. Special thanks to the ODP coaches as well. Their dedication and expertise plays a big role in enhancing the ODP experience. We hope to see many of our players be part of the Regional Pool this year.
