The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

TOPSoccer(1)

Developing a TOPSoccer Program can be very rewarding. Just like anything new, it takes time. We have a more comprehensive guide here, but the suggestions below are a great place to start.

establish a committee

Talk to like-minded coaches, administrators or volunteers within your club about starting a TOPSoccer Program. Set a timeline for the year as well as goals such as:

  • Number of players you wish to get involved
  • Establishing indoor and outdoor sessions
  • Outlining modified play
coordinate volunteers

Volunteers are crucial to the TOPSoccer experience. Emphasize the community service aspect of the program to interested parties.

register your players

Once your plans are in place, register your players as an intramural team with your club and therefore Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. Players need to be registered in order to be covered by insurance.

complete background checks

Anyone who is 18 and older and involved as a volunteer, TOPSoccer Buddy or coach must have their PA Child Protection Laws background checks complete.

spread the word!

Word of mouth goes a long way in making a successful TOPSoccer Program--neighbors, classmates, teachers, friends and fellow soccer people. You'd be surprised by how many want to help out.
