Union select Rosenberry in MLS Draft

Keegan Rosenberry reached the 2011 US Youth Soccer National Championship Game as a member of Penn Fusion. Now, he'll ply his professional trade in the area where he grew up playing.

The Philadelphia Union selected the Ronks native with the No. 3 overall pick of the 2016 MLS Super Draft. Rosenberry, a right back, captained Georgetown University during his collegiate career.

He is a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School. Congratulations Keegan and good luck!

The Union used its other two first-round picks to select defender Josh Yaro (No. 2), also from Georgetown, and midfielder Fabian Herbers (No. 6) out of Creighton.
