Back to News US Youth Soccer National Championships: Day 3 The 2017 US Youth Soccer National Championships are through two games. Despite just one win between them, all four Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer are still alive. Here's what's at stake today: U16 Boys: Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals v. Tampa Bay United, 10 AM EST The Ukrainian Nationals have started 0-1-1 but have yet to score a goal. They currently sit in last place in Group B. However, the Ukrainians can advance to the semifinals with a big win and help. U18 Girls: FC Pennsylvania Strikers v. Cleveland FC, 2 PM EST The outlook isn't good for the Strikers, who have started 0-2 with a -3 goal differential. Still, like the Ukrainians, a big win over Cleveland FC and a victory from Legends FC (2-0 in the group) can send FC Pennsylvania to the semis. U19/20 Girls: YMS Premier Xplosion v. WSA Red (OK), 2 PM EST After a win in their first game, the Xplosion dropped a heart-breaker to ASA Coyotes (MD) on Wednesday, a game that included a miss penalty from YMS. But the defending national champions are still in good shape to advance. A win or a draw with some help would do the trick. U19/20 Boys: Penn Fusion v. West Coast Haney (CA-S), 10 AM EST It's simple: Penn Fusion needs a win. After two draws, the West Chester-based club sits on two points. Penn Fusion was up 2-1 in its first game and hit the post in its second. They've been unlucky. Perhaps that luck will change Thursday. The game will be live-streamed here.
